Britney Spears’ third husband, Sam Asghari, asked for a divorce in August 2023, only 14 months after they got married. They are having a disagreement about a prenuptial agreement and who will take care of their dogs after they separate.
Asghari wants more money in the prenup and has said he’ll tell embarrassing things about Britney if she doesn’t agree. They’re also fighting about who will have the dogs, Porsha and Sawyer, after they break up. Britney really loves these dogs and is even ready to pay for them. She’s even okay with giving back the engagement ring Asghari gave her.
Recent news says that Britney wants to keep the dogs and is willing to give back the engagement ring in return. She was seen without the ring a few days before the news of the divorce.
It seems Asghari isn’t sure if Spears will take good care of the dogs and be nice to them. In 2021, her dogs were taken away because she didn’t look after them properly.
Asghari is also asking for more money in the prenup and financial support from Britney to help him with his costs and lawyer fees.
When Asghari gave Britney the Doberman dog, Porsha, he said in a video on social media that the dog would protect her from anyone with bad intentions. Britney got the blue-eyed Australian Shepherd, Sawyer, while they were in Maui.
